BIOGRAPHY

Amanda is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Social and Political Science acting as Course Lead for the MA Clinical Counselling. She is an Accredited member of the BACP and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. As a person-centred counsellor, she strives to be mindful of how power is structured in her therapeutic work; this also informs her teaching practice and research.
