Abdul is a committed and passionate lecturer with several years of experience in the academic world. He has a strong educational background and completed his Bachelor's in Computer Science and Master's in Management. He also completed an MPhil in sustainability, where his research focused on sustainability reporting and financial performance. Also, he is pursuing his PhD in sustainability reporting and financial performance, and the focus is on SMEs in northwest England.

As a Programme leader for MSc International Business, He believes his role is to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential. He is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to engage with the subject matter and develop their critical thinking skills. He is also dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in his field to bring relevant and cutting-edge insights to the classroom.

Before joining the academic world as an entrepreneur and working in the service industry for 12 years, Abdul had diverse experiences that shaped his journey. Starting his own business in Liverpool was both exciting and daunting. He had to wear many hats and learn new skills quickly, from marketing and finance to operations and management. He faced many challenges along the way, but each hurdle taught him valuable lessons that helped him grow and develop as a business owner.
