Astrid has a background as an Emergency Medicine doctor, and has also worked for several years in Patient Safety. Her role at Chester Medical School is MBChB Placement Facilitator, acting as contact point between the University, Local Education Providers, and students on clinical placement. She also provides a point of contact for Educational Supervisors on placements and can support discussion between Personal Academic Tutors from the university and Placement Supervisors.
