Professor Angela Simpson is Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society, where she oversees education and research across Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work and Medical Sciences.

As a member of the University’s Senior Executive Team, Angela brings significant experience in designing and delivering high-quality health professional education. She is passionate about co-producing curricula with students, practitioners and partners, ensuring programmes are relevant, inclusive and responsive to workforce needs.

Angela works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to support the Faculty’s contribution to cultural, economic and social wellbeing. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and her commitment to diversity in both higher education and professional practice.
