BIOGRAPHY

Conor is a lecturer in the Business, Management, Accounting and Finance Division at Chester Business School, and is the Programme Leader for MSc Management. Starting with his studies in BA Business Management and progressing to MSc International Finance, Conor has developed a rich understanding of business management, entrepreneurship, and finance.

His journey at Chester began as a Learning Facilitator before becoming a Lecturer. He's been instrumental in teaching modules related to entrepreneurship, strategic decision-making, finance, sustainability, international business, supervising dissertations, and fostering entrepreneurial activities among students. Leading students through the Young Enterprise Start-Up competition, as well as supervising students while they pursue success in the entrepreneurship placement pathway. This has been led by his studies and previous experience forming and running multiple start-ups.

His research interests include exploring corporate governance practices towards long-term sustainability, currently pursuing a PhD in investigating long-term sustainability governance in the professional football industry.
