Caroline is a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Communications, Screen and Performance in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Media and Television production.

Caroline specialises in television / screen production and, since joining the University in 2006, has taught across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including BA Media and Television Production, BA Film and Media Studies and BA Acting.

Caroline started her career in the TV Industry after obtaining a distinction for her MA TV Documentary from the University of Salford. Caroline made her way up from a Researcher to Producer/ Director, working on a variety of programmes for regional and national broadcasters including ITV and the BBC.

Caroline still enjoys getting behind the camera and has worked on some practice-based projects including producing and directing a commercial
DVD for Super League rugby team, Warrington Wolves. Caroline has also been involved in BFI 360 filmmaking academies for 16-19 year olds,
collaborating with Reel Solutions, Storyhouse in Chester and other colleagues from the University.
