Clare teaches on undergraduate courses, focussing on SEND, equality, diversity and inclusion. At postgraduate level she teaches on the PG Cert in  Mental Health, Attachment andTrauma and is programme lead for the standalone practitioner enquiry module for Attachment, Trauma and Mental Health.

Clare is a MA dissertation supervisor for a number of students and is also a Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including those completing PGCEs.
