I am a marketing lecturer and former professional swimmer with a strong passion for leveraging marketing to enhance wellbeing, engagement, and performance. My research interests focus on internal marketing, sports marketing, and sponsorship, with a particular emphasis on fostering strong, authentic partnerships between athletes, brands, and organisations that generate sustainable value for all stakeholders.

I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester in 2026, where my research explored the impact of Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic on the experiences of Romanian migrants in the UK, examining how these significant macroeconomic and political changes shaped migration experiences.
