Ed recently joined the University of Chester as a Senior Lecturer in Applied Sport Physiology. Prior to this Ed conducted his PhD thesis at Western Sydney University. The research explored the influence of unpleasant tastes on exercise. Alongside teaching and research, Ed also has experience working as a physiologist at the Western Australian Institute of Sport. This experience has guided Ed's research interests to be focused on improving athletic performance, particularly through nutritional interventions.
