As Deputy Programme Leader of Primary and Early Years Primary Education BA (with QTS) programmes in the School of Education at the University of Chester, Gemma has a variety of roles and responsibilities including leading the level six cohort. Gemma was previously a qualified primary school teacher with experience of teaching in York and Cheshire, who joined the university as Senior Lecturer in Primary English in 2014.
