BIOGRAPHY
Gareth is a Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at Chester Medical School. His expertise is in human anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology, research methods and biostatistics.
Following an undergraduate degree in Sports Science, Gareth studied an MSc in Exercise and Nutrition Science and then gained a PhD in applied exercise physiology from the University of Liverpool focusing on the effects of sports massage as a method of post-exercise recovery.
Gareth first joined the University of Chester in 1998 as a Technician/Demonstrator. He joined Chester Medical School in August 2021 as a Lecturer.
