BIOGRAPHY

Jules is a former Software Engineer, and committed to delivering cutting edge knowledge and teaching. She is the BSc Software Engineering Programme Leader & a Lecturer within the School of Computer & Engineering Sciences in the Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise.

As a Professional Member of the BCS (MBCS) (British Computer Society) she also has an undergraduate degree BSc (Hons) in Software Development, an MSc in Digital Marketing, a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and is a Fellow of the FHEA.

 

In addition, she started her PhD in May 2024, which undertakes a deep dive into the furture of computing and ubiquitous computing, 'why are we still using pysical devices such as keyboards and mice and why haven't we moved on yet'
