BIOGRAPHY

Dr John Evans-Jones (FHEA) is a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) at the Fountains Sexual Health Clinic in Chester. He is lead for the Chester Medical School MBChB Year 2 Community block placement in the service and a Case Based Learning/Clinical Skills Tutor on the course.  Away from the medical school he has been Clinical Lead for eHIV-STI (Electronic Learning for Healthcare) since 2014. He is also a British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH)  Sexually Transmitted Infection Foundation (STIF) competency trainer, an educational supervisor for specialty training in GUM, a member of the BASHH Education Committee and acts as a Principle Investigator (PI) of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) studies.
