Kelly Gouveia is a Senior lecturer in Animal Welfare Science at the University of Chester. She is the current programme leader for our BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. She teaches on the Bioveterinary Science programme in animal health and welfare related modules, as well as on the MSc in Animal Behaviour, where she is module leader for Animal Welfare and Ethics. She is also one of the assessment officers for the school of natural sciences, where she oversees strategic assessment and feedback across all programmes.
