TEACHING INTERESTS

At the University of Chester, Kate has provided a variety of library induction sessions to postgraduate students. She also leads a series of regular training webinars for academic staff and PGR students on Open Access publication, repositories, metrics (including use of the Scopus database) and research dissemination.

Whilst at the University of Manchester, Kate taught on the following modules in the History department and in the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine (CHSTM):
Crisis and Prosperity in Twentieth-Century Europe (Year 2 Undergraduate) - History department
Madness and Society in the Modern Age (Year 3 Undergraduate) - Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine (CHSTM).
