BIOGRAPHY

Dr Katie Mansfield-Loynes in the Programme Leader for the FdSc Nursing Associate programme at University Centre Shrewsbury. Dr Mansfield-Loynes has led on the programme since it's beginning in 2017. Dr Mansfield-Loynes provides leadership the the programme team as well as leading on the apprenticeship requirements for the programme across all sites. Dr Mansfield-Loynes is a registered nurse and is on the NMC register. Dr Mansfield-Loynes spent her clinical career within the social care sector and has worked both clinically and strategically with care of the elderly. Katie was on the trailblazers for levels 2 & 3 care apprenticeships and the original RNDA programme. Dr Mansfield-Loynes has been involved within policy making working groups for the Department of Health & Social Care.
