Dr. Kiran is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer and Engineering Sciences, in the Faculty of Science, Business, and Enterprise at the University of Chester, UK. She earned her B.Sc. (2003) and M.Sc. (2008) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, and her Ph.D. (2013) in Electrical Engineering from Air University, Islamabad, Pakistan. She began her teaching career at Air University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2004 and later served as an Associate Professor at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (2014-2024). She received KAU President Award for Distinguished Faculty Member in SHAMS E-Learning Program in 2018. Her extensive research encompasses Cognitive Radio Networks, Cooperative Communication, NOMA, energy harvesting, IoT, Evolutionary Computation, and AI. Dr. Kiran has published numerous high-impact journal articles and frequently presents her research at international conferences, highlighting the global significance of her work.
