Lizzie is Senior Tehcnical Officer in the School of Natural Sciences. She undertook an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Lancaster University and a postgraduate degree in Conservation Biology at Manchester Metropolitan University.

After completing her postgraduate degree, she worked at Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre in Manchester where she worked in and supervised the Bioanalysis Lab.  She then went on to work in the Clinical Sciences and Nutrition department here at the University of Chester mainly supervised student projects in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and cell culture before moving to the School of Natural Sciences.
