BIOGRAPHY

Leanne Mee is a Senior lecturer in Design and Technology within the School of Education in the Faculty of Arts. Humanities and Social Sciences. She is the PGCE Secondary Design and Technology subject lead and also supports in delivering on the Primary programmes for Art and Design and Technology.

Leanne has an extensive background in teaching and leading Design and Technology since 2002, securing a National Professional Qualification on Senior Leadership for bringing about sustainable changes to STEM education across the Academy and local community.
in addition to her role at the University Leanne runs her own educational consultancy business providing training and provision to improve the quality of provision for Design and Technology and STEM in schools. She works with a number of organisations to include: The Design and Technology Association as a consultant, Shropshire Council, Telford and Wrekin Council, Wolverhampton Council, she runs a number of funded initiatives to include a programme for The Royal Academy of Engineering, a programme funded by The Manufacturing Group and various other initiatives.
