BIOGRAPHY
Louise works part-time in the Research & Innovation Office as a Postgraduate Research Communications Officer. She is working to enhance the PGR research culture at the University of Chester by organising research-focused training and community led events. Alongside colleague Lucy Rutherford, she organised and hosted the University-wide Postgraduate Research Symposium in 2022 and 2023 and is continuing this in the organisation of the newly rebranded PARC (Postgraduate Academic Research Conference) for 2024. Other events she organises include regular postgraduate coffee mornings, a bi-weekly journal club and monthly networking events. Additionally, she is the Inaugural Vice President and Founder of the PGR Network.
Louise is a PhD student in the School of Psychology. Her PhD is focused on exploring how police interviewers deliver the police caution to suspects who have been identified as vulnerable.
