Laura Milne joined the University of Chester as Head of Digital Education in April 2023. She manages the Digital Education team within the Centre for Academic Innovation and Development (CAID). Laura works with colleagues across the university to enable excellent and innovative technology-enhanced learning. This includes iterative improvement of the university's VLE, collaboration with teaching colleagues to embed engaging learning opportunities in their modules, and guiding the development of a learning design approach for the university. She has worked in academia and industry and in previous roles managed clients and projects across the UK, South Africa and the USA. Laura holds ACMALT accreditation and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AdvanceHE). She is an active participant in HeLF (Heads of E-Learning Forum) and GAIN (Generative AI Network).
