BIOGRAPHY

Lisa King is Head of the Practice Education and Simulated Learning Division in the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society, University of Chester. Lisa is responsible for the academic leadership of the division providing strategic direction and discipline leadership in all elements of practice education and simulated learning in the faculty. Lisa works closely with the Heads of Schools and the senior management team in the faculty to enable teaching and the development of new knowledge, innovation, growth and understanding within the field of practice education and simulated learning. Lisa also works at a strategic level with professional bodies and with external stakeholders.

In addition, Lisa is an experienced academic and senior lecturer, a Senior Fellow (Advance HE), a registered mental health nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and a member of the Royal College of Nursing.
