TEACHING INTERESTS

Professor Gondek contributes to teaching on both the undergraduate and taught postgraduate Archaeology programmes. Some of the material she covers includes topics such as:
Early Medieval Archaeology of Northern Europe
Archaeological Methods and Techniques
Archaeological Research and Professional Skills Development (GIS, Project Management)
Archaeology of Later Iron Age to Early Medieval Britain and Ireland
Early Medieval Art and approaches to art

She has supervised several successful research (MRes, MPhil and PhD) students and continues supervising on topics such as:
early medieval sculpture, approaches to landscapes of the early medieval period and multi-period landscape studies of the Irish Sea littoral.
