BIOGRAPHY
Following a long career in the NHS, Royal Air Force and various nursing and senior management roles I have developed expertise and a specialist interest in: mental health and physical illness; eLearning, informatics in health care, aviation nursing and nursing in austere environments.
I have been a registered nurse for 40+ years and have held a number of nursing and non-nursing senior management posts in the NHS and private sector. I am currently a senior lecturer in nursing studies working part time, 2 days a week.
I am also an external examiner for the MSc Health Informatics programme at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN).
