Oluwatobi Ogunmokun

BIOGRAPHY

A seasoned researcher, Dr Ogunmokun brings a strong blend of industry experience and academic rigour to his role at the University of Chester. He holds a PhD in Business Administration, with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, and has published in leading marketing and consumer studies journals.

 

He is currently involved in the Horizon Europe funded Reforms and Empowerment for Agri-food Competitiveness and Open Excellence (REACToe) project, a €5 million consortium with 15 partner institutions, contributing to collaborative research to strengthen sustainable agri-food systems and competitiveness. He is also a current recipient of the Cavanagh Scholarship, which supports his research into labour injustice in Northern Nigeria, focusing on structural inequalities in employer labour demand of informally educated youths.

 

Alongside his research, he serves as Deputy Course Leader for the MBA at the University of Chester, contributing to programme development and enhancement, and has been involved in teaching and curriculum development in Business Ethics and Marketing across universities on three continents, bridging academic insight with real-world business and ethical practice.
