Professor Simkhada has extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in public and global health. In his previous academic roles, he taught and led modules in global public health, international health, health promotion, and research methods, and played a key role in the design, development, and leadership of postgraduate programmes, including MSc programmes in Public and International Health. He has also led curriculum development, quality assurance, and innovative teaching initiatives, including distance and blended learning provision. While his current role as Dean of Global Impact and Research does not include formal teaching responsibilities, he remains actively engaged in academic development through the supervision of PhD students on a wide range of global health topics, mentoring the next generation of researchers.
