Dr Rachel Massey joined the University of Chester in 2018. She is responsible for the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment on the Global Affairs, Politics and International Relations Programme. Her research interests rest in feminist theory, its application in international politics, and issues surrounding sexual violence.

Alongside her teaching and research, Rachel is a member of the University of Chester’s Equality Forum and the Department of Social and Political Science's Disability Link Tutor. She is also a member of the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
