BIOGRAPHY

Sue Bright is a member of the team within the Research & Innovation Office that is working to support the University’s vision relating to its research governance, supporting the development of its research staff, facilitating research culture change to ensure research integrity, research ethics and good governance principles are at the core of all research conducted at Chester.

As an Administrative Assistant, Sue's main role within the department is to support the work of the Directors of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Institutes, this can range from helping to organise and promote events, organising catering and rooms, and payment of invoices through Business World, to taking minutes for meetings. Sue is also supporting the University's Research & Knowledge Exchange Strategy by contributing to multiple workstreams within this including Workstream 6.

She previously worked as an Administrative Assistant as part of the University of Chester Business Growth Programme Project Team. Before this Sue was a Head of Design and Technology and teacher of Careers in secondary education. She has also taught design based subjects in Further Education, and worked as an interior designer on both a freelance and employed basis.
