Suzy Twist is Programme Leader for the BSc Physical Education degree in the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society at The University of Chester. Suzy joined the University in September 2017 as Lecturer in PE and teaches on the PE degree and on the pedagogy modules of the Sport and Exercise Science degree. Since graduating Suzy has taught for 20 years in a range of secondary schools, has been Head of Department, Head of Girls PE and SSCo. Suzy has also taught in primary schools, acting as PE Mentor to generalist teaching staff. With a background in teaching PE in both secondary and primary schools for approximately 20 years, Suzy is well placed to lead the BSc PE degree. Suzy has also taken a leading role as Department Welfare officer to support those students who are struggling and to signpost them effectively to central University Services.
