BIOGRAPHY

Yu‑Fang is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester, where she teaches Chinese language and translation. Her research explores how language, literature, and technology intersect, with a particular focus on using digital and computational methods to better understand texts and communication. She is the author of Corpus Stylistics in Principles and Practice and has worked on projects ranging from literary analysis to the study of legal language. She was a Fulbright Scholar at New York University and has held research and teaching positions in the UK and internationally. More recently, her work has focused on the role of artificial intelligence in education, exploring how tools such as language models and multimodal AI can support language learning and help students develop critical digital skills.
