BIOGRAPHY
Senior Midwifery Lecturer within the Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Society
Disability and Inclusion link lecturer for Midwifery.
Katie Beardsley joined The University of Chester in 2022, firstly as a clinical skills demonstrator and then associate lecturer in practice simulation. Katie then joined the midwifery team in 2025. Prior to this Katie worked as a clinical midwife completing rotations on Labour ward, Antenatal/ Postnatal wards, Midwifery Led Unit, Antenatal Clinic before becoming a core midwife on triage. Katie then went on to undertake her Specialist Community Public Health Nursing- Health Visiting route before entering Higher Education.
