Dr Megan Parker is a Lecturer in Zoology in the School of Natural Sciences. Prior to joining University of Chester in 2025, Megan completed her PhD in Biological Sciences at University of Liverpool focusing on sustainable agriculture, using benefical soil bacteria to reduce insect pests on cereal crops. Megan has a strong interest in plant-insect-microbe interactions, with experience across a range of fieldwork and laboratory techniques, including metabolomic and transcriptomic analyses.
