BIOGRAPHY
As a Biophysical Chemist, my work bridges the complex fields of biochemistry and biophysics to enhance our understanding of molecular interactions and mechanisms. In my current role as a Lecturer in Biotechnology at the University of Chester, I am deeply committed to fostering an enriching academic environment that promotes both graduate skill development and vibrant research activity. My core expertise includes single-molecule fluorescence imaging, protein chromatography, and DNA biochemistry, with a strong emphasis on imaging data analysis. I continuously adapt my teaching strategies to align with the university’s innovative academic culture.
As a Researcher at the University of Chester, I apply my background in biochemistry and microbiology to investigate the impact of agrochemicals on soil microbial communities and crop health. I also explore the influence of dietary supplements on human health. My research incorporates a wide array of techniques, including microbial cell culturing, PCR, DNA sequencing, spectrophotometry, and protein structure prediction and analysis.
